Eco Parla Return & Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made through the Eco Parla online store, operated by Eco Parla ABN 78 789 355 349, registered in Australia. This Policy outlines your rights, how to return items, and how we process refunds or exchanges, in compliance with consumer protection laws, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Consumer Rights

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if a product is faulty, damaged, not as described, or not fit for purpose. This Policy does not limit your rights under applicable laws.

2. 30-Day Return Policy

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. To be eligible:

The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it.
It must be in the original packaging with all labels/tags attached.
Proof of purchase (e.g., order number, receipt) must be provided.

Important: For hygiene reasons, bedsheets, quilts, pillowcases, and other intimate bedding items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty, damaged, or not as described.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are non-returnable, including but not limited to:

Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, plants)
Personal care items (e.g., cosmetics, hygiene products)
Gift cards and downloadable digital products
Sale or clearance items (unless faulty)
Custom or personalized items

We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery at ecoparla.info@gmail.com with:

Your order number
Description of the issue
Photographic evidence (if applicable)

We will assess your case and offer a replacement, refund, or store credit at no additional cost to you.

5. How to Return an Item

Contact customer support at ecoparla.info@gmail.com with your order details and reason for return.
If approved, you will receive a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions on how and where to return the item.
Items must be returned within 14 days of receiving approval.

Do not return items without contacting us first — unauthorized returns may be rejected or refunded partially at our discretion.

6. Shipping Costs

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method; Eco Parla is not responsible for lost or delayed parcels.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

7. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

You will be notified via email whether your refund is approved or rejected.
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days (bank processing times may vary).
Items not returned in their original condition may result in a partial refund or store credit.

8. Exchanges

Exchanges are only available for:

Incorrect sizing (subject to stock availability)
Faulty or damaged goods

Return shipping for exchanges is the customer’s responsibility.

9. Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before dispatch. Contact us immediately at ecoparla.info@gmail.com. Once shipped, cancellation is not possible.

10. International Returns

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, customs duties, and taxes.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.

11. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

For orders shipped to the EU, you may cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason. Items must be unused, in original packaging with tags, and returned with proof of purchase.
